Fantasy Faire Interviews… Me!

As part of Second Life’s annual Fantasy Faire (a Relay for Life/American Cancer Society fundraising event) I was delighted to be interviewed by Saffia Widdershins within the Literature Festival portion of the faire. After over a decade of being a part of the Faire from a behind the scenes stance, it’s surreal that I’m this year’s special guest author. The interview took place in a dreamy, beautiful region called Lost Pages, where the world was entirely made out of pages from books. High above this landscape rises the Great Library, and that’s where the interview took place. We had a nice turnout, the crowd had lots of questions and comments, so it was a lively time. I had fun! (After I got my headset to actually work, that is!)

This Saturday my writing critique group will take a field trip to the Fairelands, then on May 5th I will lead a poetry workshop aimed at folks who have never tried their hand at poetry. Finally, on the 7th, I will read excerpts from my books, and right after that we are having a steampunk ball!

Here’s a pic of Saffia (left) and me (right) during the interview. The white cat with horns and a devilish tail is mine. Her name is Jadis. She’s mostly harmless. Click the picture to embiggen it.
